Crossland seeks to rapidly advance our flagship project, Charley Creek, to be an innovative and progressive rare earth mining business. Our tenements have extensive mineral and long-life project potential with few encumbrances. With such longevity, it allows us to focus on sustainable business planning and decisions. We believe this project will be a major provider of clean rare earth minerals from within Australia for years to come. Our operation will incorporate technology to conserve energy and progressively rehabilitate. We recognise that our success will be possible through innovation and challenging existing ideas. Improved efficiency has to be cost-effective both in terms of capital and operating costs. The sustainability of such decisions, in terms of project longevity, environmental impact and external relations, amongst other factors, will always be key considerations. A good business, in our view, means we can get on with business uninterrupted whilst satisfying all stakeholders for years to come. Our vision will be realised by undertaking study work necessary to convince our supporters that our progress, so far on our concept, will lead to development on a profitable business in the near future.

Our company is focused and committed to developing the Charley Creek project. We are a lean team of experienced mining professionals with very low overheads and big aspirations. Our vision is to establish a profitable low-cost , environmentally sustainable mine, producing high value rare-earth oxides/hydroxides and industrial mineral by-products. When developed, we believe that our operation will enrich the region with renewed opportunities and allow us to reward our stakeholders.
The Crossland team completed a detailed Scoping Study in 2013 as a solid project foundation. Since that time, our team has judiciously investigated critical issues necessary for the projects success. Assumptions are challenged, innovative alternatives investigated to find solutions. Where needed we have commissioned testwork and engaged essential expertise. With a lean budget, project development is being managed by it's Directors, moving ahead by updating our project Scoping Study and then progressing to the Pre-Feasibility stage.
Crossland seeks to be an innovative and progressive mining business. Our extensive mineral resources and long-life project potential, allows us to focus on sustainable business planning and decisions. We will continue to identify areas where material handling is minimised, where energy savings can be made and process efficiencies gained. Improved efficiency has to be cost-effective in terms of capital and operating costs . The sustainability of such decisions, in terms of project longetivity, environmental impact and external relations, amongst other factors, will always be key considerations. A good business, in our view, means we can get on with a profitable business uninterrupted whilst satisfying all stakeholders for years to come. Our vision will be realised by undertaking work necessary to convince our peers that our progress so far on our concept will lead to development in the near future.
Crossland wishes to leave a positive legacy. This is best initiated at the planning stage. We are very fortunate to have a simple and low impact project. Essentially, we are planning to extract minerals and return the benign waste sand to it's source. Most of our material (over 99.9%) will be effectively sieved, processed with water and returned to the extraction area. In a short period, the mining area will have no distinguishable surface expression change and be restored to it's prior usage.
The world continues to use REE minerals, as global citizens we must ensure that producers are responsible and sustainable. Our production will be of traceable origin, responsibly mined and subject to stringent controls. Can this be said of many of the existing supplies today? We feel that this project, on this basis alone, is good reason for public support and even set a bench-mark for sustainability. Realistically, the current ad-hoc and unsustainable supply chain in the world will inevitably lead to supply disruptions. Given the stranglehold of few production centres in the world, supply is exposed to strategic shortages whether political or market driven. Conversely, our project contains a bias of heavy REE. Our contribution may be the critical mass needed to given manufacturers confidence in supply to use these heavier REE in products. The future is bright for responsible, sustainable producers.
Crossland considers safety as integral to the work function. Before undertaking any task, the risk and hazards involved are assessed. Personnel must be correctly trained and provided with the necessary equipment and information to undertake their work safely. Management ensure accountabilities and responsibilities are clearly defined and relevant policies and procedures that are in place are observed.
Crossland takes a systematic approach to OHSE. The processes for each stream are in principal similar. The Company is committed to identifying potential environmental disturbance and emissions. The Company will apply best practices to minimise and control environmental impact. A combination of management and engineering solutions ensure we get effective results. Personnel must be correctly trained and provided with the necessary equipment and information to undertake their work safely. Our management ensure accountabilities and responsibilities are clearly defined and relevant policies and procedures are in place and observed. This philosophy extends to monitoring project surrounds and managing our rehabilitation efforts to ensure our footprint is deemed positive.
Crossland has maintained presence in the Burt Plain region for almost a decade. We respect our established relationships and will endevour to keep our partners informed. Through consultation and understanding, our aim is to minimise any impact on the community. Project development will introduce changes to the community. This change will be managed in a hands-on manner to ensure the introduction of a new community and facilities is positive and beneficial to existing residents. Crosslands is ready to embrace the challenges ahead. The community is keen for the project to move to the next level. The area is mainly grazing land, we appreciate and understand the connection graziers have with their properties. With consultation and consideration, we can respectively situate our project infrastructure and working areas for mutual benefit. We also recognise the connection indigenous communities have to their traditional lands and respect their rights. The company will always seek opportunities for local communities.
